Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, Dr. Brent Woolverton encourages you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Dr. Brent Woolverton is a native of Houston, graduating from Westfield High School in 1997. He moved to the Tomball area with his family in 2010.
Dr. Woolverton obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree from the University of Houston. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from the University Of Houston College Of Optometry. In addition to being a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist, Dr. Woolverton has met the qualifications necessary to achieve the title of Optometric Glaucoma Specialist at TSO.
In his spare time, you might see Dr. Woolverton on the golf course or out at the movies with his family. He loves Sci-fi, Action and Comedy movies. Dr. Woolverton thoroughly enjoys watching the Texans, Astros and Rockets. Is this their year for 90 wins? Dr. Woolverton is the commissioner of the UHCO class of 2013 fantasy football league. Married over 15 years, with two boys and one girl, he is always keeping busy! He has a cat named Smokey. Dr. Woolverton and his family love to go bowling, play laser tag, video games, go to all sorts of sporting events and enjoy playing board games. Their favorite vacation spot is Pensacola, Florida.

It is Kristina's goal to provide Tomball TSO's patients and the surrounding community with quality care as she guides her team and continues to grow within the field. "I thoroughly enjoy working with patients to find their perfect fit." says Kristina who is a problem solver! "It is rewarding to know that I have made a difference in someone's day, even if it was only with a smile or a lending ear." Kristina brings a positive, comfortable, organized work environment for her team and herself. She devises strategies for improving teamwork and communication daily. Although Kristina is not fluent in Spanish, she can understand 80%! Kristina's proudest accomplishment is graduating High School at the age of 15. Outside of the office, Kristina's family is her everything. Kristina and her husband of over 13 years have four wonderful children who all love to spend time outdoors. Oceans, parks, eating out and good quality family time is what they love to do most. An important golden rule that happens to be one of Kristina's favorite is written below:

Yolanda is a great contribution to the Texas State Optical team! She has such a fun-loving personality and positive attitude, always ready and willing to provide the patients with the best service. Yolanda is also fluent in English, Spanish and French! She plans to return to school in the near future to further her knowledge and become more informed in her current position. Her primary career goal is to move her way up with Texas State Optical to better herself as well as be the best she can be for her son. Her favorite part about her job is the fulfillment she receives being a part of the TSO team. Her co-workers provide her with great training and knowledge, helping her see and learn TSO's procedures as well as teaching her to provide the utmost customer service. Her proudest accomplishment is becoming a mother and a better person because of it! Outside of work, Yolanda likes to dance, draw, spend quality time with her son at the park and to fish. Her favorite childhood memory is spending the weekend camping out in Freeport, Texas while fishing the night away with her loved ones. Yolanda's favorite quote is said to have been spoken by the one and only Thomas Jefferson:

Huy's career goals are to return to College to pursue his dream in the Medical Field. Huy is always helpful and happy, in turn making our patients visit fantastic. Not only does Huy enjoy the patient interactions, he has over 6 year’s knowledge in the Optical field. Huy has been an Optometric Assistant, Optician, Lab Technician and also worked with a billing and coding team. Huy is very versatile and friendly! Huy's proudest accomplishment is his 5 beautiful children as well as his wife of over 6 years. Outside of work, Huy likes to watch Marvel movies, read comic books and play board and video games with his kids. His favorite childhood memory was a family trip to Disney World. Andie's goal is to learn all that she can in the Optical field and to use it to the best of her ability. "Knowing that I am going into an enjoyable atmosphere every day and returning home feeling as if I accomplished something great for the patients is what makes my job worth going to" says Andie. Andie brings efficiency to Tomball TSO along with a positive attitude and thoroughness! Outside of the office, Andie likes to garden, fish or kayak when able. Her proudest accomplishment is paying off her home. Her favorite pastime memory is going on adventurous dirt bike rides with her friends! American essayist, lecturer and philosopher of the mid-19th century, Mr. Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote Andie's favorite quote below:

"I love taking care of people and making their day." says Jacob. "There is never a dull moment in this field, it is very interesting." Jacob brings a great attitude to the team, determination, admiration and makes his fellow co-workers job much easier with his contribution. His proudest accomplishments consist of managerial skills he has gained in the past as well as becoming an Eagle Scout. In Jacob's spare time he likes to read, play videogames, go for daily walks with his neighbor, paintball, help his friends band make music, camp, go to the gun range and fishing! His favorite childhood memory is playing baseball with his dad. "My dad got into an accident where he couldn't walk anymore yet he continued to play baseball with me through videogames!" says Jacob gratefully. Another favorite pastime is when he use to play with his dog Billy every day of the week. Although Jacob is not bilingual, he is working on his Spanish. Jacob's favorite quote comes from Gandhi below:

Martha has been with TSO over 23 years. Her favorite part of her job is being able to make a difference in the way the patients see the world. She is very versatile and is able to work efficiently in any position that Texas State Optical requires. She is highly energetic and very professional and brings a great vibe to the team. Martha is very knowledgeable when it comes to Frame Styling and lenses and takes pride in her work. She is always ready to help the patients see better as well as educate them about the health of their eyes. Martha is always thrilled at helping put our patients in the best looking frames. Her greatest accomplishments are her children. She spends most of her free time with her husband and St. Bernard 'Monabella'. She loves the outdoors and enjoys working in the yard. Martha also enjoys various art projects, music, movies, reading, shopping and fast cars. Maya Angelou, an American author, poet, and civil rights activist, gives a quote that is very inspirational to Martha:
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
Cesia is pursuing a higher education in Business Administration. She plans on using her degree in the medical field, in hopes to open a facility herself one day! "The patients are what makes my job worth going to." says Cesia who contributes great time, dedication, effort and a positive attitude towards her team and the patients alike. Cesia has a great energy and drive to help her team! Cesia has been in healthcare since High School and says her proudest accomplishment is the positive impact she has made on the patients that were in her care and in the lives of their families. Cesia not only helps our patients in English but can assist our Spanish speaking patients as well. Outside of the office, Cesia loves to dance. Cesia's mother had 12 children and would sometimes leave with her father on Sunday mornings so that Cesia and her siblings could meet with them at Church later. Cesia says her and her siblings would always miss Church; they would end up convincing their dad to let them go to the park instead, this being one of her favored childhood memories with her siblings. American industrialist and the founder of the Ford Motor Company, Henry Ford spoke Cesia's favorite quote below:
